Midget Travel
The Champaign Chiefs are excited to announce the addition of a Midget team this year. The season will run from September through February.
The team parent/player kickoff meeting will be held on September 5th at IFSI
from 6:00-7:30pm.
FEES & EXTRA COSTS
Midget Travel Fee will be $2100. If they are doing HS as well, it is an additional $300.
*All fees are subject to change based on the number of player registrations.
Additional fees may include:
-Jerseys and Warm-ups if needed or required.
-Personal travel expenses to and from games and tournaments.
-At least one tournament is included in season fees. Additional fees for extra tournaments may be requested and will be collected before tournaments commence.
Ages
Players born between 01/01/2006 and 12-31-2009.
When
Travel Hockey seasons run from September through February.
Where
Most practices will take place at the University of Illinois ice rink and the Palmer Ice Arena.
Practices
Practice schedule will be released after tryouts. Practice days and times vary depending on ice availability.
24-25 Midget
2024-2025 Midget Tryouts will be held:
9/1 11:45am-1:00pm
9/3 8:45-10:00pm
Cost: $75
The fee includes all tryout days.
It is preferred that players attend a minimum of 2 days, but may attend all 3 days.
