Frequently Asked Questions

Does my child need to have skating experience?

No. Learn-To-Play and Little Blackhawks are designed to take a player from zero experience to entry level hockey skills.

What is the difference between House and Learn-To-Skate?

House is for 6-10 year old children who have the ability to control movement and can move autonomously on the ice. It is recommended that players complete 2 sessions of Learn-To-Play or Little Blackhawks before moving on to the House Program.

Can my child us their own equipment?

Yes, As long as the helmet has a valid sticker and the equipment is in good working order. All equipment should fit properly.

Why are there two different programs?
